"This hotel is 190 years old and quaint. If you like history then you'll love staying here. Great English breakfast. Warning for all you I-phone, I-Pad junkies. They only have Wi Fi in the Lobby NOT in the rooms and no Outside telephones. Welcome to the 19th Century. We loved it. The Staff is fantastic as well."

"Typical Holiday inn Express. Bit chaotic on arrival - better signing to entrance when driving would be helpful & bigger area to unload as no space - had to drive into large underground car park (plenty of space) but then walk back long way carrying stuff to hotel. Room was fine though bed mattress sinking in middle a bit & noise outside woke us early on Sunday. Sunday breakfast at 09.30 was certainly peak time - only one poor woman racing around trying to clean & clear tables was woefully...

"Stayed for one night. When we got to our room we were greeted with a personalized noted and treats. Every staff we interacted with was amazing and went above and beyond to help. Dinner at the restaurant was one or favorite meals ever. I wish I could eat here every night. Room was spacious and beautifully decorated and designed. If you have a dog this place is very pet friendly. "
