"This property is 400 years old, it's very old fashioned. We had a 3 night stay at the Copper Kettle and we absolutely loved it! The room was very comfortable, although a little frayed here & there. Shower was great, breakfast each morning was great. We also took advantage of the 3 course meal one evening (available to guests only) & for the money was great value. "First thing we realised when we turned up was that you are not staying on a farm but in a characterful old farmhouse. You have to park on the road outside but it is off the main road and is very quiet. Jan, is a wonderful host, welcoming, friendly, and a really good cook. The breakfasts and the one evening meal we had were excellent - and better than the ones we had in the upmarket hotel we stayed in afterwards. If you like good food then consider staying here.
