"The in room heating is so loud I couldn’t sleep more than 15 minutes at a time or be cold. Definitely don’t recommend for light sleepers. Also sink was backing up almost immediately."

"I loved the Sylvia Hotel. Great location on the seawall bike path. Storage for my bike. Wonderful staff and great food at the restaurant. Eggs benedict was perfect! The restaurant could use more gluten free options on their dinner menu. The room was well appointed except for the coffee maker. It didn't get the water warm enough to steep tea. A microwave in the room would be helpful. I would still highly recommend!"

"Expensive"

"The room was several rooms, which I wasn’t expecting. Kitchen, bathroom, 3 beds, dining room and a view of English Bay. All shabby — circa 50’s without updates — but clean and spacious with a great view. It was great for the price. Very well located, right in the centre of things but there is traffic noise; 3rd floor so it might have been less. A great two night stay. (There were plenty of fans, a/c and space heaters if needed.)"

"Friendly staff. Clean room with great view. Convenient location. Very nice they have slippers in the room to make the stay really comfy. Haven't had time to try the breakfast yet. The only thing not so ideal was that I woke up feeling not so well recovered, only to find out that the mattress was a bit tilted low on the head end. Could be just coincident."
