This place is amazing - especially for the price. Very cozy and hospitable, greeted with free popcorn, free access to mini golf, bbq and easy access to the beach! This place has all you need! And what makes this place different is the staff - they go above and beyond. Keep in mind it is a 2 star motel - for what it’s worth I’d give it a 10/10

If you’ve got an early ferry trip, this is a good option to stay the night - less than a five minute walk from the terminal. Equally close to a range of restaurants and shops. Room was comfortable for two people, and the bed was as cozy as any other place I’ve stayed at. Check in was a breeze, with the staff helpful and engaging.

We enjoyed our stay. I found the pillow way too high but when I asked for a different pillow I was as told they were all the same. I had to sleep with no pillow. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay. The location was very convenient.

The Spot is a fantastic place to stay overnight when catching the BC Ferries, which is what we did. Close to the Ferries, The Spot is excellent, from the greeting to our extra requirements (a kettle etc) all our needs were met! The room was comfortable, clean and the balcony and extra bonus to enjoy an easy meal. Lastly the bed was really comfortable. Best of all the welcome was genuine after many hours on the road from Torfno!

The owner is so sweet and nice, he is a wealth of knowledge and offered us recommendations around the island. He is always happy to help and gives genuine kindness with every interaction

This Motel was on the money for a low budget hotel. The room was not large but we were comfortable and the room was clean. It was really convenient for an early trip on the BC ferries

We stayed here overnight before taking the ferry to Vancouver Island the next morning. We had a spacious room that was very comfortable. It was good value for the price and had everything we needed. The motel is built on a hillside and the driveway is very steep. It may be an issue for some but it wasn't for us.

Property had some cooking facilities that were very handy
