"The hotel is a little basic in that there is no fridge or kettle in the rooms - it is always nice to have a cup of tea when you wake up of come back from a day's sight seeing. The rooms were warm and the beds comfortable, with plenty of hot water for a shower or bath. The buffet breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. The view from the terrace at breakfast was lovely. "

"Excellent Hotel, amazing choice of food for breakfast, the serving time is over a 5 hr window 6-11am weekday and 6.30-11.30 weekends. Room service everyday, nothing too much trouble at all. "A good budget stay in Berlin with convenience store and a hotdog store nearby. Could be busy on weekends. Location is brilliant as it is literally next to the U Bahn entrance for Line 6 and 7, easy to go to anywhere. Takeaway/ doner shop downstairs and 24 hour front desk is good. It was a bit loud as the room was next to the main street but generally felt safe and happy with the room. "

"Easily the best value of any stay I’ve had in Europe. Was quoted an extremely generous rate and was cringing after learning it was right by a major tourist hub (Checkpoint Charlie) but between the charming hostess who welcomed me; the spacious and immaculate room (with excellent TV selection) and convenient location, this (and probably Select hotels generally) is a keeper. If I had any quibble, it would be the lack of wake up calls on offer…the first two nights I literally slept through my phone’s alarm, the bed was so comfortable."
