"The hotel is lovely and conveniently located. The staff were all very pleasant. There was some misleading information on the booking description that was disappointing. There is not a spa on site. As I had booked for that reason, it was a bit irritating. Maybe they will correct that in the listing. Note that the nearest spa will require at least 24 hr advanced booking to accommodate guests of the hotel (with limited availability). Other than that, my stay was excellent. "

"The only items that may have improved our stay would be perhaps luggage racks at the room entry to allow easy access to suitcases and a rethink about the beautifully aesthetic black rack that provided little usable space for clothing and the fridge at such a low level that it is difficult to access…. I am extremely grateful to housekeeping staff who located a ring I left behind and to the front office staff who have arranged for this to be returned to me. The hotels location is perfect for...

"A very unique property with many extras, loved the building itself and its history. The continental breakfast was perfect, didn’t even need to use the Nespresso machine in the room to make morning coffee. Calamity’s Happy Hour was a bonus each evening and loved the fire pit. "
