"On one end of the scenic village of Haliburton. There's a lake across the road. The shared bathroom is ultra modern. The beds were comfortable with new bedding. It was a bonus to have the use of an equipped kitchen. The rooms were on the 2nd floor, accessible only by stairs. Host met us at our pre-established arrival time."

"Peaceful and beautiful location. Friendly staff. Great bar with pool, fusball, darts, etc. Right on a beautiful lake-perfect for kayaking/canoeing or swimming."

"The property is definitely dated, but v clean. Needed a place to stay for a local race which required 3 nights accommodation. Price was right, and then I was also informed at check in that bc the pool wasn’t open, I would be receiving an additional discount. Nice! Staff were wonderful, and provided me a lot of detail about what amenities were on site, AND the restaurant was open until 10pm which was great! Bed was comfy, loved having a balcony overlooking the little pond in front of the property. Parking and room access was easy, and room was well-equipped with a fridge and toiletries. Also the softest towels I’ve ever experienced at a hotel! Would love to come back in the summer with my kiddo to explore the area and facilities further. "

"The lake and walking path was across the street. Town was walkable or 2 minute drive to a parking lot. Good restaurants nearby and Sculpture Forest was great to see. Motel was quiet and clean and excellent location for us."
