Bonnie View Inn

10/10 Excellent
"The Boniview inn outperformed every expectation I had. Our room was clean the king-size bed, totally comfortable and a spectacular view. My entire hope for this stay was to be able to play with Waters sports. And I did so endlessly canoeing, kayaking and paddle boating. The water equipment was clean and the lake large enough to completely connect with solitude. The food in the dining room was excellent and the outdoor patio lively and delicious. Live music was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this property."

Haliburton Post House

Haliburton Post House

10/10 Excellent
"This is a very boutique type of property but with a very casual woodsy vibe. I say boutique as there are only a few cabins and I believe 3 main lodge rooms. Staff is not everywhere but when we checked in we got the most amazing greeting. The young lady in the diningroom in the morning is very sweet and helpful. It should be noted that unless you book time in the restaurant there are no other facilities for food on site. This obviously is not an issue if you are in a cabin but the main lodge may pose one. We were in the lodge but were back and forth to another location. When the restaurant is open it is quite a busy place. I cannot rate the ammenities other than the gym which was very well appointed and of a great size. There are many boats to use as well as a fire pit and some outdoor type games. While we were there it was quiet and peaceful. The rooms are well appointed with good television options if you want to sit in and watch some TV. A mini fridge and a coffee maker are also available. The location is wonderful and very easy to find."

"Spent one night here. The accommodations were perfect, we wanted a quiet, clean place to spend the night and this was it. The owner was wonderful, the room was ready for us and our personal key codes were already entered in the locks. The shared bathroom and kitchen were modern and clean. We would definitely stay here again."
