"room was ok for what we needed.couch was old.mattress was old and soft.room was clean.fridge worked good.bathroom was clean but vent needs to be cleaned.needs proper bath towels."

"This property is incredible! Hotel has it all. Big wonderful well appointed rooms, great restaurants and amazing service. At night there are often deer roaming around. The history of the property is also fascinating to learn about. Can’t wait to stay again. "

"The wood stove and heat pump kept the place warm and cozy. Beautiful spot on the river. Open concept cabin with a lot of the items already there, so less to pack. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and helpful. We would go back in the summer next time and try out the kayaks."

"We had a cozy Thanksgiving stay. The property was spacious and perfect for adults to play outside. We enjoyed the variety of water fowl that used the water in front of the cottage. Inside, the rooms were comfortable for togetherness and quiet time. We really appreciated having Sportsnet to watch the Blue Jays. "

Karen and Stew are excellent hosts who have anticipated their guests' every need. We appreciated all the small touches such as coffee and snacks. The kitchen is well supplied and very functional. We were cozy and warm here during a beautiful fall weekend. And there's lots to do see and do in the surrounding area. We'll be returning."
