BIRCH HAVEN

10/10 Excellent

"Very reasonable pricing, cozy place, Deb was very friendly."

Beautiful Cozy 3 Bedroom Cottage on the Lake

8/10 Good

"Overall the property was good. There were things that were not noted in the original listing that may be helpful to travellers coming in. The water is not drinkable and you need to bring your own drinking water. The garbage and recycle removal is the responsibility of the renter, and you are charged if you do not bring the garbage to the garbage disposal site. This proved to be very inconvenient for us. There is plenty of towels, kitchen cookware and dishes, cutlery and other useful kitchen gadgets and tools. If you are planning on cooking you have everything you need. The lighting is not great in the bedroom lamp. There were not other lightbulbs in the rental unit. If you use a lamp, pack a couple bulbs. The hot tub was lovely. The property is lovely, great access to the water, the dock and firepit were both awesome."

Tom's rustic private cottage

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in Barry's Bay. The view was absolutely stunning, and the property was incredibly private and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cottage was spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was especially well-equipped for families with children, with plenty of amenities that made traveling with kids easy and enjoyable. Our daughter was obsessed with the zipline our entire stay! We appreciated the use of the boat and kayaks! Communication with our host was super easy. Instructions for the cottage were readily accessible and super helpful. The public beach and the fry-shack just down the road were amazing gems to discover. We also appreciated the firewood for our campfires! If you're looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful scenery and all the comforts of home, this cottage is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again, in fact, we're eagerly waiting for an opening to book next summer!"

Retro Fosters Lake Cabin- Romantic Retreat w Sauna & Volleyball Court

8/10 Good

"Overall great place. One of the eyes on the stove wasnt workig. We contacted owner regarding bbq before attending to ensure we had means to bbq but when there found the gas was not working / empty and would have to fill up but since I was working was unable. We thought that should have been taken care of previously. Sauna and property is lovely. Pull out bed was not comfortable but room bed was. We were able to get reception on the amplifier but it was partially broken and had to be held in place nd not moe in order to get reception for cell phone service. Really wished the stove and bbq were in best order - we ended up fixing the stove. We forgot a whole pack of baby food in the storage in the kitchen but no one contacted us. Thats alright but, just saying. Beautiful property overall. "
