Cheap Hotels & Resorts in Dongcheng from NZ$77

"Advertised as a private room but was actually a dorm (same story reported by other travelers). Sheets instead of curtains. Told off for talking at 11pm. Noisy repairs underway from 7am. Floors never swept, tables sticky. Gave the property 3 days notice I would be leaving early but they still refused even a partial refund for the remaining nights, leaving me hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Absolute money grubbing. Stay away."

"Very good value hotel."

"For the price and location, this is the easiest place for foreigners coming to China."

"Herein rnr go hh with the main thing"

"A highly cost-effective choice near Communication University, the location is extremely convenient. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the bus stop across the street, and the subway station is also nearby. Commuting and running errands are both extremely convenient. The room is clean and tidy, and sleeping on the large bed is very comfortable. The room is also clean and hygienic. The staff was extraordinarily kind and accomodating of the language barrier."

"Ordered a room, confirmed, came, no rooms available. Great mates in the check-in counter helped to order a taxi."

"This was a bargain for the price and amenities"
