"I like this hotel it's got a bit of character about it. The staff are friendly. The only complaint is that I stayed for two days and on the second day my room wasn't made up, for some reason this happened the last time that I stayed here. Despite this it won't stop me staying here again."

"Location wise the hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town and has its own car park. The car park is tight to navigate, however any vaguely competent driver will be able to cope with it. The hotel certainly is in need of some sprucing up, the decor and furniture (with the exception of the bed) look like they've been there since the 80s or 90s. There were shoddy repair jobs on the bath/shower with excessive sealant bunged on, and the laminate on the bathroom mirror frame had mostly...

"Room was comfortable. Plenty of coffee/tea etc and a handy little fridge too. Shame the pub wasn't open but it's a nice walk to their other pub The Half Moon and the food there was lovely. "
