"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"I stayed 2 nights for a quick getaway with my son & wee dog. Host was friendly, helpful and real chill...He even gave a little tour and took us to see the glow worms...! Bus (Olivia2) was comfortable and well equipped, even had fresh veges, eggs, milk and bread left for us on arrival which was a lovely bonus. Very much enjoyed our stay, thank you 😊"

"Starlight valley was even better then we could imagine. There is not words for its beauty. It was close to lots of great hiking and 20 min to hobbiton. The Host Rachel was the kindest most helpful person and was the savior of our trip after we had some car issues. She was a great example of the kind hearted Kiwi people. Would defiantly love to stay again."
