"This hotel is closed. I booked on Expedia. Went to the hotel on 14 July to check-in. The gates were locked. The rooms were padlocked & a woman yelled at me from a window "closed" I then had to find other accommodation carrying a backpack in terrible heat. After being turned away from 3 other hotels I finally found other accommodation. "Beautiful historical building in a serene part of old Luang Prabang, yet an easy walk to the buzzy night market. We enjoyed sitting on our private deck in the garden, and delicious breakfasts under the trees. The most comfortable bed of any hotel in Asia. "

"Room was clean but run down feeling. Fan OK but didn't swivel, no AC, toilet very odd and no separation (door/curtain) from rest of room. Owner helpful enough but when he wasn't around service wasn't great. Limited choices in the town so this is good enough, and you can easily walk up to the other guesthouses and restaurants "

I was able to store my luggage for a few hours without any hassle. Good value for the price and the location is brilliant."
