"The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are luxurious while also maintaining the character of Luang Prabang. The restaurant was delicious as well. The location is perfect for walking around Luang Prabang and down to the Night Market. It was hard to get responses from the hotel at times before we arrived and we had some issues with attempting to arrange transfers through the hotel but it was also a holiday which complicated things. (Note that the River View rooms are not actually on the river, but they do have glimpses of the river) Wonderful breakfast in a lovely restaurant setting by the street. Rooms are very nice, good-sized. Our only complaint is there was no wifi in our rooms for our entire 5-day stay. We asked for that to be fixed several times, but it never was. "We started our two week trip travelling through Lao, Cambodia, and Viet Nam at Angsana Maison Souvannaphoum and this is the hotel that gave us the most special memories. It was a little oasis at the end of a main street in Luang Prabang -- easy walking distance to temples, restaurants, markets, and the river, but was peaceful and beautiful.
