"Had a wonderful stay in spite of the hotel redevelopment. The complimentary buffet behind reception was a great touch. Our Lakeview balcony room in the old hotel was very large and comfortable, as well as beautifully renovated."

The hotel itself is situated at the edge of the lake by a wonderful botanical garden. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We didn't need to interact with desk help much after check-in. definitely a great recommendation for staying in Queenstown."

"Solo traveler: Ideal location - you're a 3 minute walk from everything downtown. The room is clean and everything on the property is well maintained and new. Would 100% stay here again. The walls aren't the thickest so you can hear noise in the hallway. I was lucky enough to be on an end so it was minimal but I could see that being an issue if you're by the drink machine but even this is a mild inconvenience."
