"Would recommend. Well located - perfect for fireworks on new year and access to the harbour and the town. Compact house but rooms good size. Check in was complicated by deadline for access code which was too early and check out felt rushed at the end by the presumption of what time we would leave rather than check out time. We prefer the host not to turn up during our stay even to return items they have borrowed and felt easier ignoring this request"

"Amazing stay in this cute shed in Matakana. Beautiful private backyard area and walking distance to some great restaurants. Beautiful surrounding wine and beach area as well. "My husband and I had a lovely time away. Location is perfect. We settled in (check in was super easy) and then headed over for dinner at Jin Jins (great portion sizes). We then wandered down to the movie theatre and surrounding area for an evening stroll then headed back to the accomodation for a few drinks in the outdoor area in front of the fire pit. In the morning the markets were on so again we strolled down the road, had breakfast and meandered around the markets before beginning our trip...

"Our family had a wonderful time at this clean and very entertainment centered property. We thoroughly enjoyed all amenities, including the hot tub, grill, theatre room, ping pong and pool table downstairs. We left behind an important item and our host was so accommodating - taking the trouble to send it to another property in New Zealand. Aukland had so much to do, we would have liked to stay longer!"

"The property was good with a lot of space. A few detractors that we experience are as follows. 1. They have listed as this place has a pool. It is only a small paddling pool and this was not put up during our stay. The owner did say they had to take it down due to bad weather. A paddling pool should be listed as that. And the picture doesnt quiet reflect the actual situation. 2. Spa was not very good. Was quite dirty. 3. The kitchen faucet was leaking. It was covered with a foil paper to prevent...

"Great stay, beautiful property and area. 10min from CBD at night so handy location. Only down falls were Amenities listed but not in house that we could find. -No Iron and ironing board -Linen provided but no face cloths -Were told rubbish bags were under sink but there were none. Otherwise great stay and would book again. "

"This is a great spot for a group holiday stay. It is close to multiple beaches (but I would recommend driving rather than walking to them). The house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Jason is a very responsive and kind host."
