"I stayed in two different types of rooms during my 11-day trip. Initially, I booked a larger room for two people for the first two nights. The room was a bit dated and quite noisy; I heard water running through the pipes and strange mechanical sounds at night, which impacted my sleep. For the remaining days, I stayed on my own. This room was better than the first, though the cleanliness was not spotless and could be improved. The staff members are generally helpful and the location is excellent."

"Hotel is in a great location. It is just across the street from the shinagawa station. From there you can get most places. Only negative is breakfast buffet. It is fairly pricey . The selection of western types of food is not up to par for the price. I would have expected an omelette station for the price. Food was generally not hot but maybe that is an asian thing. Overall the hotel is very good. There is a 7-11 just outside the hotel if you prefer a quick breakfast. Closest macdonalds is on the other side of the train station but not too far if you are looking for inexpensive breakfast. I would stay again because of access to the train station"

My hubby snores and I use a white noise machine so it wasn’t a big deal for me. Rooms are small. It was hard to fit 2 suitcases (we had 1 large/1 medium) in room, had to do some shuffling every time we needed fresh clothes. I recommend bring smaller medium suitcases to fit under the bed. Even with the cons, I would come back to stay because the pros outweigh the cons. I had a great time in Tokyo because this hotel was affordable and central. "
