"Absolutely loved our stay at The Sanctuary. We were a bit worried as we’d seen some bad reviews for this place but it must have had an overhaul because it was great. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely with everything working and everything we needed. It was nice and quiet and private. The private beach is great for snorkelling. They have so many activities happening and kayaks/snorkelling gear to use. The pool was awesome especially the swim up bar. Cocktails were yummy. Food was so good with large portions. Anything we needed the staff were happy to help. We will definitely be back if we visit Rarotonga again! Thanks for the lovely stay. "

"We booked a room last minute before we flew out. A little taken back at how dated they were. The grounds were fantastic and as you walked round there was a real sense of belonging. I can see ehy people come back here. Beach was great too. We found the food reasonably priced and it tasted great. The staff i couldnt fault."

"The staff at Moana Sands were absolutely amazing, particularly the ladies on the front desk. There was one who was especially wonderful and gave my friend and I lots of ideas and information about places to visit and what to do (she was the one who told us about the fantastic lemon cheesecake at the Maire Nui gardens!). The property was spotless, beautifully quiet, had gorgeous views and extremely spacious rooms. The only draw-back was there weren't dinner options from the restaurant every night during the low season, but the meals we did have there were delicious."

"New resort and it is great! Large rooms, great staff, close to several restaurants, amazing snorkeling right out your door. Would come bsck here again and again."

"Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff went out of their way to resolve a couple of minor issues (out of their control). Bar is only open from 4pm daily. We were in rooms 1,2 and 3 and the rooms above were quite noisy "

"Highly recommended place! Sane and staff are very accommodating and very friendly. Bananas and lemongrass were given free and shared some vinegar for my dressing! 😊 Place is quiet and very relaxing which is also what we need for this vacation. Lots of DVDs free to borrow. Location is handy to shops and restaurants. Parking is ample."

"Our family of 6 stayed for 8 night's. Cannot fault this place was absolutely amaziing. Service can not fault, our rooms were basic but so homely. Id only suggest the breakfast buffet needs a little more as it was too basic but all in all we would highly recommend to anyone to book here"
