Coco has gotten busier in the last few years. Lots of motorcycle noise and prices are noticeably higher. There are lots of new restaurants though, and the surrounding beaches are absolutely beautiful.

Kinda touristy beach town with people trying to sell you stuff all around.
"The staff at this hotel were very friendly and welcoming. They lent us umbrellas for us to use while we stayed there because of the weather conditions. They gave us information on the best places to eat and made us feel at home. While the hotel is not a luxury resort, I was pleasantly surprised how big the hotel room was. It had a separate kitchen and couch and the outside patio was very large with furniture and a hammock. Will definitely stay again if we make it back to Costa Rica. "
