"Nice, small one bedroom unit. Recently redone and nicely appointed. The kitchen is sparsely equipped, but quite functional. For example, I had to buy a cutting board to make a salad as there wasn't one available.The unit has a horrible smell eminating from the laundry room which is located in a closet in the bedroom. We emailed with the owners on several occasions to try to get it rectified. We went out and bought bleach to clean the washer to no avail. The owner sent in a maintenance...

"Everything was exactly as it was described in the listing. There were plenty of toys for the kids to play with. The beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys were in very good shape. We could’ve easily have come without our own.The location is off beach, which we knew because we’re familiar with the area. It was very easy to cross the roadways at a marked crossing. "The good: Love the ocean front room. The view is beautiful. The restaurant downstairs is convenient and decent. The not so good: The beach chairs and umbrellas are in a sad state, falling apart. They used to charge for them. They can't anymore, so they now charge $20 plus tax per day to park in their parking lot at the hotel. The design of the double room has the air conditioner blowing on the face of the person in the bed closest to the sliding glass door. The ice machine was down on our floor for the entire trip. The offered beach towels are small mismatched bath towels. We have stayed here for the past 6 years and are disappointed with the recent changes"

"Room smelled musty the entire time we were there. Even after running the a/c for hours as well as the bathroom. It just felt kind of damp/humid the entire time in the room. Beds were fine, most staff was eager to talk with us as we walked by, breakfast was fine as well nothing spectacular but filling. The location is phenomenal for everything close by. Outback within walking distance and so is the rest of the area in the downtown area. Loved the area for what we did get to see."

"The stairs and deck going over the sand dune are a mess. The handicap ramp has at least six inches of sand on the turns and the stairs down to the beach are almost totally covered with sand. The deck at the top has two orange cones because there is a hole in the deck. It is Memorial Day weekend and the start of summer so I would think out door maintenance would be much better than it was. Our deck definitely needed the railings and ceiling sanded and painted. It is a wonderful location but the exterior definitely needs attention. The windows in the lobby are so cloudy and need cleaned and the interior stairwells could use some air freshener. After saying all that will we stay there again. Of course. Location. Location. Location."

"First time getting a room with the kitchen at this property typically we stay in the towers. Was told it has the bare necessities for kitchen. As far as silverware went there was one small spoon, one big spoon and one knife and one fork we asked for more and they said they were gonna bring it right over. It didn’t happen so the next day we asked again and they finally brought it and we were told he forgot. This our second time here we love this property. We love the location. Hot tub is nice and the pool. Everything‘s always clean. It’s a quick easy walk to the beach."

"I had my connecting flight cancelled and by the time I was suppose to check in I was stranded in New York City. I tried to explain the situation and she first said someone else checked in under my name(how did that even happen) and when I told her no that was impossible because I’m In New York she said there was nothing she could do so goodbye two nights paid for nothing."

"I always stay here when I visit Atlantic Beach. Being pet friendly is a huge plus the dogs love the place too. The proximity to the beach is phenomenal. The quiet at night is also very relaxing and it is only minutes to various restaurants. Will plan many more visits in the future."
