Our stay was great, room was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was that it was a particularly hot afternoon / evening and there was no heat pump for air conditioning. That would have been nice but the fan did an OK job. Will stay again for sure.

Good stay
12 night stay on business, so was good to have a decent sized room. Was able to park my trailer so that’s always a big tick. Location was good for where we needed to travel to each day. A couple of negatives - there were some dirty dishes in the cupboard on our arrival. You have to clean your dishes when you leave, so maybe the staff should check them before the room is booked again. The hotel is on a reasonably busy road so a lot of traffic noise when the door is open, so had to close it when watching tv, talking on phone etc. No aircon so made it really uncomfortable with the current summer heat. No sky, which wasn’t a biggie. Internet seemed to slow right down around 10pm every night.

Bright light shinning into unit all night from local service station, needs heavy curtains or black out curtains. Water pressure for hot water in the shower very weak and not suitable for good shower

Lovely motel - clean and quiet
We booked this motel quite late in the day. Needed somewhere on the North side of Chch as we were heading north the next day. Ended up arriving after reception was to close - phoned ahead and they offered to wait up for us! On arrival (after 10pm) we were meet and shown where to park - we had a large vehicle but still found space. Motel was almost full but it was still very quiet. Room was upstairs with a small balcony with table and chairs. Room was large, clean and well appointed - plates, glasses, etc. Bathroom was large and clean. Highly recommend this motel - will stay again!

The height of some of the cupboards and microwave - but we managed. It was great that they gave us a ground floor unit so we didn't have to go up and down stairs.

Fabulous overnight stay
It was really clean and comfortable. Loved the little bathroom soaps. And the best was having our two doggies with us. Will definitely stay there again. Value for money for sure!

This was rather unfortunate occurrence all due to requesting a bond because the guest arrived with 4 dogs. We are a pet friendly Motel - upon request, as we have certain units that we prefer pets to stay. Willow arrived after hours, 10.30pm; she had informed us that she had dogs, but not 4! The guest took exception to our bond request and things escalated so it was decided that the guest should find alternate accommodations. A full refund was issued on the spot.

Handy to airport
Good comfortable unit in an excellent location. 5 minute drive to airport. 5 minute walk to tavern / restaurant and local shops. Would stay again.

Well located. Bus stop is literally just outside to the city. If you travel by car there is. Petrol pump next door and a great diner just across the road
