"Fantastic stay! Would stay again! On arrival the receptionist Cindy was very warm and welcoming, she greeted us with a smile and checked us into our room. The room was very clean and tidy, with a decent sized bathroom and nice shower. Free WiFi and TV was perfect, looking forward to staying here again ! Thank you to Cindy and the rest of the team at Portland by Sunday!"

"Nice stay at the Tribe on our second visit. Very helpful staff. Proper teabags in the room. Nice shower. Breakfast ok, very nice bread, full breakfast good. However the coffee machines was once again a big problem. Neither working properly on both our visits and again causing queues and frustrated fellow travellers. Staff helpful and knowledgeable but when "a fix" only works for a short while - making just a couple of coffees before going wrong again - then it needs a more permanent solution."

"The room was freezing and the radiator couldn’t warm it up. The air conditioning only works from April to October so it was a bit of a letdown. I think this hotel might be confused about its location, perhaps thinking it’s in Manchester rather than the Costa del Sol. The check-in staff weren’t friendly or welcoming. It felt like an inconvenience to them that I was arriving late. The breakfast options were limited and mostly consisted of full English breakfasts. The coffee tasted watery and there were no fresh juices. Overall, the hotel is dated and needs a refresh. For example, the bed was bouncy and you could feel the springs."
