Wow! Literally the best Manchester hotel we’ve stayed in, massive room with all the special touches, Staff were amazing and nothing was ever a problem.
Thank you

I knew the room was at basement level and upon arrival I was happy with the room. It’s a decent size with a roll top bath in and a separate bathroom. However, with it being in the basement with no windows it was very stuffy, I requested a fan but it didn’t arrive. There was a lot of noise from the other rooms (I assume part of the wedding party) but it didn’t bother us as we were going to be out until 1am anyway. We came back to thudding music which went on until 4am, then at just before 7am we got woken by tables being dragged across the floor above us. I can only assume that Dishoom is above us as we then had to endure Indian music flooding into our room until we checked out. This is on top of trying to sleep in the hardest, most uncomfortable bed I have ever been in - honestly the floor would have been better!
Suffice to say we will not be returning and I have requested a refund. I get that this hotel is in a great location, but the night we’ve just endured is totally unacceptable.
Excellent staff and superb breakfast.
Given 4 stars as not sure the room floor had been mopped ( may have been scuffs but we’re glad we’d brought slippers with us. ) We would stay again but would feel wouldn’t recommend to certain friends.
Staff at the hotel and the breakfast location, were most welcoming and engaging. Enjoyed my stay here. With the hotel itself a very interesting location. Breakfast was delicious.

After a lousy, grey, wet day in Manchester returning to the hotel to be welcomed by Jodie, the ray of human sunshine on the reception is just the tonic you need.
So welcoming and must be the best craic in the city.
Lovely, clean rooms, a great breakfast and excellent service from all of the staff will ensure I return next time I am in town.
