It is dirty and full of rude people and beggars
The tram system is excellent and makes this hotel great for cricket and football (if you are a red!)
Use the pre-booked Club Cars to get around as they were better than Uber but not as expensive as cabs.
You need to walk to find the different areas and to the area where there are more restaurants in the town and also to the wharf area which was a surprise when i got there. Perhaps this could be mentioned to fellow travelers.
After visiting Man United stadium, we had to stand and wait for an hour for a bus to take us back to town which was not pleasant otherwise our stay which was only for one day was ok
By history Castlefield Roman Fort may the oldest building in Manchester, local government and travel agencies could do more to preserve and promote it.
