"Great reception staff, helpful and professional. Hotel is interesting and characterful. Comfortable well decorated room with decent linen. Decent breakfast but porridge was a bit watery A few downsides…… A lot of noise from the bar opposite until 11.30 and there is only single glazing because of its age. Heating from the A.C. panel was slow in heating the room, however the central heating kicked in during the night and the pipes were noisy with the constant sound of running water in the room. Shower in the morning was no more than a tepid trickle even when set to fully hot. Grubby curtains and no nets in the room although other rooms had them. Wouldn’t stay again as there are plenty of options in this price range. Parking expensive at £17 for residents."

"Check in procedure was a bit unusual for me, if I’m honest. It took a couple of phone calls, emails and having to download their app. That said straightforward once you understood it. Paid offsite parking is a block away. Wouldn’t have been ideal if I’d had a suitcase to lug around. Parking and accommodation on separate invoices. I had clocked it not a hotel, but serviced boutique apartments. Location is great. Good choice of eateries close by. All said, now that I know what to expect I’d probably use again for a short visit. "

"Such a lovely room. The comfiest bed ever. Amazing duvet and pillows. Huge space. Quiet location. We didn’t eat at the property so I cannot comment on the food but the room was absolutely lovely. We stayed in Room number 1"

"Both the hotel and room was clean and fresh, everything needed for an overnight stay or longer. Equal to a premier Inn only considerably cheaper. Definitely staying here again."

"Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Crescent Place. The team member on site was very friendly, chatty, and helpful, which made a real difference to our experience. Our only concern was that our room was noticeably smaller than the one our friends stayed in despite us paying the same price. Our bed was a double and they had a king sized bed. The bathroom in Room 13 (the attic room) was also quite compact. On a positive note, we appreciated the thoughtful touches on arrival, with milk and water provided in the fridge so we could make a hot drink straight away. "
