"We’ve just arrived home from a one night stay and we’re very impressed with this hotel. This is a quintessential British old fashioned luxury hotel. The rooms are all individual and ours was very large with a wonderful view of Cheltenham racecourse. The oak panelled dining room, gave a feeling of grandeur without being stuffy and the food and serving staff were excellent both at dinner and breakfast. The hotel grounds are magnificent and we made use of the heated outdoor pool and
spa

The Frogmill

3.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (299)
"We had room 15 up in the attic which was beautifully decorated in soft green. Like the rest of the hotel, the room was full of character with original oak beams and floorboards. We had a wonderful cast iron roll top bath in the main room, a huge bed with the best quality bedding, a small area to hang clothes and some shelving/ drawers which was fine for a short break. There was also a separate shower room with a huge shower, and the most luxurious white towels we’ve ever had in a hotel, and lots...

The Slaughters Country Inn

5.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (768)
"We stayed in an updated deluxe room. Adults down and kids upstairs. The carpet leading into the rooms is worn but otherwise the rooms are in good order with a nice soaking tube downstairs. The included breakfast was excellent but the pub is lacking in character and was disappointing when we wanted an evening drink or snack. The amenities are somewhat limited and I’d call this a 4-star establishment. Location was ideal for exploring the countryside and we would stay again."
