"This is a little gem in the city, everything was a positive. As a solo traveler I felt safe, the pool was clean, I even did a yoga class on the roof that was extremely challenging but made me feel refreshed. would go back in a heartbeat "

"* Room key didn’t work on arrival had to go back to staff * Second room AC didn’t work sent back to original room after delay * Saw dead cockroach in hallway near room * Whole check in room issue took ~1 hr disorganized * Took hotel towels to beach in rush * Both towels were dirty stains incl possible blood / grime * Returned & requested clean towels * Manager said I shouldn’t have taken them out even tho unusable * Eventually agreed to give me clean ones but then tried to charge fee later * I asked her to take them back since she had came to my room to hand them to me & not be charged she refused & walked away * Continued arguing at front desk with me & I asked calmly multiple times if this is really how she treats her customers * left them on the counter & said here, don’t charge me. But she said “I don’t care, let them stay there, I already handed them to you. I said ok idc they can stay there. I’m not paying for them * next morning I turned in stained sheets I saw on the bed the night before. (Sofa bed also had a huge red stain on it) * Reported dead roach again dismissed told should’ve said earlier * No warm water during stay * Bathroom unclean had to buy bottled water to brush teeth * Only small bathroom mirror no proper mirror * Overall multiple cleanliness + maintenance issues + poor service * Would not recommend stay BEWARE * bathroom was disgusting DO NOT RECOMMEND. If u don’t care about filth and bad customer service then this IS your place. If not, it’s NOT!!!!!!"

"The swimming pool was not crystal clear but they have the option to use all the amenities in the beach club at the Krystal’s hotel in the beach. We were out of hot water for half a day and running water by a couple hours. It was a bit disappointing that the hotel didn’t apologize."

"I stayed here a few months ago and felt it offered a balance between amenities and value for my money. However, since then there were two main issues with my stay. The refrigerator did not work at all, and I had to use a separate cooler with ice every day to keep my drinks, cold. When I talk to the staff, I was told that I needed to upgrade to a better room for a cooler fridge. The fridge worked fine and I stayed in an identical room my last stay. Also hot water was lacking on two days. I could not get a hot shower no matter how often I tried. Because of these issues, I would not stay here again. It’s unfortunate. The room was cool though and clean."

"Close to major grocery store chain and OXXO. Also near lots of great restaurants. Us transportation near. A bit noisy with bar/nightclub across the street. On site free washer and dryer for guest use. "

"Lovely clean hotel , staff so friendly on reception . Our double room had two beds and en suite bathroom . Added bonus of lovely smelling individual shampoo and skin lotion for use. There was air conditioning we used during the day but didn't need it overnight . Very close to "El Parque de las Palapas " that featured last night local children singing and dancing on the huge stage! We will return here now each time we fly into and out of Cancun. 5 mins walk to Cancun bus station for onward travel "
