"Our second stay at La Hacienda and it won't be the last. The place is magical! Sitting in the rocking chairs on the veranda, you feel like your transported back to 1920's Florida. The lobby and restaurant are beautifully restored, as is the whole hotel. The staff is beyond courteous and welcoming. Oscar at the front desk is a delightful source of information. Michelle, who served us breakfast was spot on. Attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. We had breakfast and I wolud come back for the biscuits alone. Love this place!

Little House on the River - on main river not canal,includes kayaks,paddle-board

" Very clean - my friends kept saying this as we stay in rentals 2-3 times a year and this house was very clean. Host was very responsive to all inquiries. Enjoyed having kayaks available to use on the river and didn’t have to bring ours. The outdoor area was perfect with nice umbrellas and three loungers. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep - I suggest leaving suitcases downstairs. Thank you for allowing us to stay - had an excellent weekend. "
