"My girlfriend and I came down from Chicago area to visit my son, who's a student at UA. It was a big game weekend, so it was going to be crowded in town. An easy 40-minute or so drive to this adorable, older, cozy home -- VERY clean, lots of character, all the modern conveniences we needed, and more -- in the middle of a quiet, hilly, wooded neighborhood. "A little quirky when you walk in with two beds in the living area…but it worked out perfectly for us. Wonderful having two bathrooms, laundry, full kitchen, the wonderful outdoor deck, very clean, great linens & towels, plus little extras that they have there for you, like the coffee bar area. We would definitely stay there again. For us, it was very close to our family & just a few miles away from Oak Mountain State Park. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. "
