"Hotel concierge is amazing. The staff overall is amazing. A few features with the room didn’t work. Mainly the bathroom. Running toilets and the shower randomly going off through the night. No air circulation unless you open the windows. Cleanliness was fantastic. A beautiful property. We will always come back. Minor issues need to be addressed."

"Great location right in the heart of Venice, with most attractions within walking distance. It is a little far from the train and bus station, but you can take the water bus to a nearby stop and walk from there. Just allow extra time, as waiting for the boat can slow things down. The hotel has a lot of charm, although it does feel a little old-fashioned. The wooden floors mean you can hear people walking around above you if you are not staying on the top floor. My room had a balcony with a lovely view, which was a nice bonus. A few things to note: there was no kettle in the room due to fire safety reasons, and no coffee or complimentary water provided. There was also only soap and no shower gel, which may not suit everyone. Breakfast was included and enough to fill you up before going out, but it was quite basic. Apart from boiled eggs, there was no other hot food. Overall, I would still recommend staying here for the excellent location and character of the property."

"We stayed in February 2026. The website clearly says rooms have conditioning. While that may be true, the deactivate the air conditioners in the winter months and there is no way to cool your room down other than opening the window. The problem with this is that our room faced into a ground-level courtyard where other guests could easily access and climb in which felt unsafe. When it rained, the water collected and dripped off a metal roof which made really loud sounds. So the only choice for our stay was to be too hot but quiet at night, or cooled down but sleeping unsafe with the window open where anybody could come in at night. Moreover, the fridge was a hassle because it was connected to the lightswitch..so everytime you left the room the fridge would go off. Pillows were so flat and hard...worst pillows I have seen in my entire life. Would not stay here again unfortunately. "

"Room was clean and central location. Terrible staff however. They were quite rude and overcharged us our property taxes. More than 4x what was listed on the booking confirmation and just started yelling and screaming loudly in Italian. Suggest to avoid or be prepared to pay whatever tax they make up on the spot. "
