Great, quiet location, unless your room is next to the canal, where you might hear boats passing by late at night. But honestly, that’s part of the Venice charm. The hotel used to be a convent, and it has a lot of character. Be prepared for some stairs, but there’s a handy back door for a quick shortcut. Overall, we loved our stay, one of the more affordable places we found. Plus, the breakfast was excellent!

Great breakfasts, especially as my Wife is GF, lots of choice and the breakfast staff were lovely, very helpful. Good central location a few minutes away from St Marks and Rialto! Furnishings a bit tired and could do with a spruce up, but in general a very nice stay.

There is nothing we could fault about this hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean and every member of staff was pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent too with a very good selection. We would definitely go back and highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice.

Historic property close from piazza San Marco and Riolto bridge. The layout of the hotel is kind of odd due to its historic nature. Staff was wonderful. Lots of fun.

2 people for 2 nights. The location was perfect - 5 min walking from all the highlights, however it felt quite and private. The pastry shop across the street had nice coffee and delicious traditional desserts. Very local place. The room and the dining area were super clean - 10! The breakfast buffet had great variety and was tasty. - We had booked a deluxe room and it felt smaller than the photos. The room was dark - needed the lights on even in the morning. I am not a fan, but most of the hotels in Venice have this interior style -too crowded for me. Minimum effort from staff. I would expect more from a 4* hotel. Overall enjoyable stay! 8/10
