"Great location to downtown. Great patio and couches to sit on. Breakfast was fresh. Room was nice. Shower pressure needs improvement and took a bit to figure out how to put on hot water. Otherwise I would recommend this wholeheartedly. Staff was very nice in every encounter. "

"For its location and price, the Carmel Inn & Suites was a good deal and comfortable stay. It is well located easy to walk into town, and had adequate parking. Staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms are cute like Gramma's house, and everything was clean and fresh except the floor. The floor needed a serious scrub and steam clean. It looked clean, but even a few steps in bare feet and our soles were black! The amenities were as listed, fridge w/freezer, coffee maker and hairdryer all clean and functional. They have us plenty of towels for 2 people. I can tell they are in the process of updating things, some stuff was newer quality, like bedding and towels, other stuff was older, like the curtains. I felt safe and comfortable for our 1 night stay. I would return and recommend to friends."

"Adorably furnished room! We loved the decor, the robes and slippers, the Nespresso with complimentary oatmilk in the fridge were highlights. Our only complaint was the temperature of the room. Although there was a ceiling fan, it would have been nice to have kept the windows open. Unfortunately, no screens to keep the bugs out of the bedroom. As for the continental breakfast, they present a lovely array of baked goods and fresh fruit but no yogurt which was a big disappointment because it is listed on their menu and also a breakfast staple for us. Would have loved to have eaten the granola and dried fruits on the yogurt. We would definitely consider another stay and would recommend to others."

"Parking was fairly easy, staff was helpful, but rooms themselves need a lil TLC. Beds were hard and uncomfortable and the tv was not working properly. "

"This property is perfectly positioned near every hotspot in Carmel. You’re just a few blocks from the beach and steps away from downtown shopping. It’s a wonderful place to relax outside with a glass of wine while watching your dog play. The rooms are spotless, and the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!"
