Overall great, and very expensive stay! Be prepared to spend $ every day! Min your find is 20 per person for lunch on very small portions. But it’s a vacation, so that doesn’t matter any way, right? Haha!"

"I booked this hotel primarily in the excellent ratings which I cannot understand based on my experience. The hotel is well located within the Colonial Zone however there were several detractors. First and foremost, the rooms don’t have any air-conditioning which is a major flaw in a city as hot as Santo Domingo. My room (104) was in the ground floor and was very dark with no sun coming through the windows. The breakfast was mediocre at best with very limited selection and the scrambled eggs were cold. The rooftop poll is small and the loungers are uncomfortable. Not a great experience in my opinion."
