"Lovely relaxing stay, wish it could have been for longer. Adrian and Ann-Marie are super hosts. The gite was clean and comfortable and well furnished with everything we needed. The outside deck was perfect for meals and relaxing in the afternoons/evenings after visiting local villages. And the pool was warm and a great size - we often had it all to ourselves. Would highly recommend."

"A wonderful gite in the most stunning countryside - beautiful views, wonderful wine and history all around with the Cathar castles and Carcassonne all close by. We had a wonderful week and wish we could have stayed in our tranquil little hideaway for ever. The gite was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped, we didn't want for anything. Annie-Claude was a wonderful hostess and was extremely helpful to us. When Willilam is older it would be great to bring him back to run around the hills..."

"If you are looking for peace and beauty, then the situation of this home is perfect. Every day you will be greeted by two fab ponies and inquisitive chickens. Yes, a car is needed for exploring, but there was something so relaxing about coming home to the tranquility of the countryside. Plenty of walks nearby and only a couple of hours from the Pyranees, I would recommend this home if you are looking for an escape."

"This cottage is a gem!! The property is very well kept, clean and comfortable. It is very spacious with lots of room for being together, as well as spaces to get away by oneself. There is a wonderful balcony off the sitting room that is shady with a comfortable outdoor sofa and chairs to enjoy, which we did. The owner has added many personal touches to add to your comfort--extremely comfortable seating in the sitting room; bed and bathroom linens very large and of good quality. It was VERY hot...

"House was beautifully well equipped, immaculately clean and tidy. It’s in an excellent location only 15 minutes from Carcassonne but with absolute peace and quiet. Local pool in the Village was great in the heat. The local butcher carries bread, pastries, preserves and lovely wine, not forgetting meat. Laurence was wonderful with ideas of where to visit, and was available for anything we needed but otherwise very discreet."

"Very peaceful property, stylishly decorated and with a lovely large garden with many seating areas, hammocks and pool. The house was very well equipped and, as keen cooks, this was perfect as we could visit local markets during the day and then cook feasts in the evening. Esther was a very helpful host, giving good information about the local area and kindly supplying us with logs for the lovely fire in the living room"

Lediglich die Straße ist laut, aber damit kann man sich arrangieren. Wunderbar gelegen in einer abwechslungsreichen Umgebung. In der Nähe zum Canal du MIDI. "The wine cottage was the perfect home base for our stay in the south of France and exploring the rich history of the area. The cottage is just as advertised with two quiet bedrooms, two full baths, two full kitchens and plenty of space to relax (all fully air conditioned). The outdoor space with pool was ideal for sipping wine after our many day trips. Groceries were just a short car ride away from either Homps or Lezignan-Corbieres. After taking the train from Paris to Narbonne and picking up...

"The appartment was very confortable and quiet. It is a 10 minutes flat walk from the old Carcassonne city and castle. Courtyard parking."

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "
