Close to the castle. They supply filtered water in bottles because it gets used to local tap water. Lots of walking and steps up and down if you go on the ramparts all the way around the castle. .Enjoyed the evening light show taking place only on the part of the ramparts. Had a great dinner in Auberge de Lices.

Fab hotel, 10 min walk to Carcassonne Le Cite, warm friendly staff, excellent facilities, nice restaurant, outdoor pool with pool bar, food and drink priced at around the same as Le Cite, i would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is perfect for access to the fortified village and castle and within walking distance of the town . Reception staff were helpful and friendly . Car parking is tight, the hotel takes no responsibility if your car is parked in , as ours almost was !
