The hotel has lived way past his prime and it shows. If you even seen an American movie with an old motel well this one can be used today if you want to make a remake. The AC works but stinks up the room, there is not one item in the hotel or room that should not have been replaced years ago. The internet is so slow you think you are back in the time of modems and is completely unusable even for checking email (streaming services apparently are not known here). This while France is one of the best covered with fibre internet (I checked it is available in the area). The good news is that they are cheap and people are friendly and parking (free!) was plentiful.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the property. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The staff did an excellent job of keeping the hotel in top condition. One of the highlights of my stay was the ample parking available at the hotel. I had no trouble finding a spot close to the entrance, and the parking lot was well-lit and felt safe. This made coming and going from the hotel a breeze, and I appreciated not having to worry about finding a parking spot. Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and convenient place to stay. The cleanliness and parking situation really set this hotel apart from others in the area.

Hotel is around 40 mins up a hill from the centre of Carcassone and public transport to get there isn’t good. There isn’t much around there so if you don’t have a car be prepared to get a lot of steps in. The room itself could do with a renovation.
