"Excelent room and everything was clean"

"I recently stayed at La Concha in Puerto Rico and would rate my experience 3 out of 5 stars. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained, and its location is definitely a major highlight—it’s right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the area. However, there were several downsides that made the stay less enjoyable. Communication was difficult at times, as many staff members did not speak English. While the hotel offers a lot of amenities, nearly everything comes with a high price tag. For example, we were charged $30 just to heat up food, and even a simple espresso martini cost $31. The most frustrating part of our stay was the unexpected fees. After already paying over $2,000 for three nights, we were required to pay an additional $800 in resort fees upon arrival, which was not clearly disclosed ahead of time. That felt like a huge inconvenience and left a bad impression. On top of that, we weren’t able to access certain parties or events, even though we had paid for a suite. Overall, while the hotel is clean and in a great location, the high costs and lack of transparency around fees made the experience disappointing. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again."

"Overall, we had a good time. However, our first day and check-in experience was disappointing due to an interaction with Jesus at the front desk. The day before our trip, we called to request an early check-in since our flight was arriving at 1 PM. The gentleman we spoke with said it should not be an issue. When we arrived, a young lady informed us that our room was not ready yet, but that she would text us as soon as it was available. At 4 PM, the stated check-in time, we went back to the desk to ask about our room. Jesus told us, “We texted you.” I explained that I had not received any text, and he responded, “Oh well, we texted.” My husband then asked if he felt that was the right way to handle the situation, especially since we had been told the day before that early check-in should be possible and were also asked earlier that day to give it another hour. I wanted to share this because when traveling, you hope to enjoy your trip from the very first moment. Unfortunately, this interaction took away from that experience. It was especially disappointing because this trip was our honeymoon."

"Hi!!! I would return!!! However it would not take much to improve this hotel to feel more luxurious. Key points….please supply better quality products. Such as conditioner and larger soap. Please consider a blanket. Room did not have a blanket that was comfy. Makes a huge difference. Carpets could be steam cleaned in the rooms. A throw carpet for the bathroom OR skid matt. Floors become wet. Please ensure blowdryers are operable. Us ladies like to look nice and sometimes it requires a handy blowdyer. Mine did not work. Room service! Even if its light snacks! Small appetizers. It would be such a nice touch. Mini charcutierie or fruit platter. Yogurt with granola or salads. These investments would greatly increase hotel popularity and revenue! Thank you for your hospitality and warm staff. "

"The ocean view is a little suspect because unless u have a front room that faces the ocean your going to get a dirty rooftop view with slight ocean"

"Didn’t end up staying there because When we got there they said they were over booked and had to move us to a lot smaller, much less amenities and very loud hotel next to the airport. We were very disappointed!"
