"We had the most wonderful stay. The property is situated just a small, enjoyable walk away from Llanberis. Amy and James were amazing hosts, always showing interest and being super helpful with their knowledge of the local attractions. Breakfast was amazing, the porridge proved great fuel for the Snowdon climb. The room was clean, comfy and had its own personality. Thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in completing Snowdon and travelling around North Wales."

Plas Glynllifon Mansion

Plas Glynllifon Mansion

8/10 Good
"The hotel is unlike anywhere I've ever stayed. It's a HUGE mansion that looks stunning when pulling up the drive, but then you notice some of the windows boarded up. However, for those want to stay somewhere VERY unusual and is up for a little adventure, then this Glynllifon is one of the most interesting and quirky places to stay. It's far from a 4-star hotel - but with significant investment, it could easily become one of the best hotels in the UK and therefore command significantly higher fees from guests. However, my stay was fun and enjoyable despite the lack of TV and intermittent WiFi."

"Upon arrival we have been upgraded (for free) to a luxury room. The room itself was very nicely decorated and it had that luxury, boutique feel. Room was very clean. All towels, glasses, cutlery in the room as well as bedding was very clean. The hotel itself has a unique style, very well thought through with stylish design and decorations. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious and quickly prepared and served. Hotel is situated within 15 minutes drive from seaside town as well as access to Snowdon tracks.
