"Very friendly, considerate & welcoming staff, great atmosphere, very busy. Good food. Comfy bed. Nice rooms. Stairs to rooms. Need to book restaurant when busy. Parking can be limited when extra busy. Great views over the Menai strait’s. Outside seating. "

"The majority of the rooms is not in the castle but in a converted barn, paper thin walls so you can hear everything happening in the next room. Some rooms don’t have connected bathrooms so you hear the doors constantly slam as they need to use the toilet. The meal in the restaurant costs 70 each and the amount of food you get is embarrassing, they will hide behind this by saying it’s fancy food but I would not even feed it to my dog. Save your money as even if you are rich and can afford it I suggest you find a different place. "

"Room was clean and spacious, a bit worn down. Pool was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The dinner was delicious!"

"Really lovely! There were 5 adults and our Labrador. What we really liked was the layout of the accommodation and a secure garden for the dog. 5 mins easy walk to the beach.There is plenty of utensils and cookware etc and we dined at home no problem. We got a home delivery from Sainsbury's so that made life a lot easier and there's a small shop about 5 minutes walk away where you can get any forgotten bits and where we bought logs and enjoyed the log burner. Just for info there is no tea, coffee, bin bags, washing up liquid, shampoo, bodywash or hairdryer. Dishwasher tabs enough for your stay are provided. Great comms with the owner. Really enjoyed our stay."

"This is our second time of staying here and yet again such a wonderful and comfortable stay.On arrival spotlessly clean and warm, such a homely feel.The home has a great amount of space for a family and everything you need is available.It is in a great spot for all amenities.Communication from host is perfect. "My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary We have been to Beaumaris many times but this was our first stay at the Bulkley and it will definitely not be our last it is a absolute gem of a hotel full of charm Friendly and helpful staff The hotel is clean and breakfasts and evening dinner excellent We plan to return later this year a fantastic 10 out of 10 break Highly recommended "

"All very good indeed. Comfortable and clean room, with good upkeep throughout my stay. A perfect location overlooking the town, beautiful Edwardian buildings in the Arts and Crafts style, fine views from my windows. Excellent breakfasts, served from 7.30 onwards for those wanting an early start. Staff friendly and helpful. And amazing value for money all round. "
