The location was fantastic, right in the middle of Conwy with free secure parking. The room was pristine and had everything we could have needed for our stay and more. The staff were so welcoming and the food was delicious

One of our favorites!

On our trip throughout Wales, this was one of our favorite hotels! The town is charming, and the Y Capel is so cool! Rooms are unique (a former church) but comfortable-- and we were so grateful for air-con in the unexpectedly hot summer. Would happily stay there again and definitely recommend!

A Lovely Little Hotel

A really excellent small hotel, ideally located in the centre of town and with easy access to the Erskine Arms opposite for breakfast and dinner. Room was really comfortable with all facilities, including plenty of tea and coffee available at all times, and well equipped. Room was well maintained and kept extremely clean by the efficient staff Almost impossible to find anything to criticise with the hotel or pub so definitely well recommended.

Many positives and the only reason I am scoring 3/5 overall is that the mattresses need to be seriously upgraded. Room 5 mattress was brutal… hard… springs pressing in your back/side. Not a good sleep.

Cute, quirky place to stay. Parking is tricky and the streets are very tight. No minibar or frills. Good shower. Bed was very firm with minimal padding- not good for folk with back problems.

Y Capel was a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Conwy! Our room was spacious, clean and wonderfully decorated. We really appreciated the biscuits, tea, coffee, hot chocolates and water in the room that were also replenished!

Y Capel was THE cutest place, exceptionally remodeled from a former derelict church, great facilities with all the comforts of home thoughtfully placed in the rooms. The staff were easy to work with, room had a great view and it was so close to all the great things! If we come back to Wales, we WILL be staying at Y Capel again!

Beautiful property with excellent decor. Lounge area was lovely, with tea and coffee. Breakfast provided small selection but enough, but I did have to go searching for staff to ask for more coffee and some toast, so service could be better. Parking provided on site was a bonus. Enjoyed the stay though.
