I looked at this Hotel when our flight was cancelled and didn't want to spend a lot for a room. First it looked much bigger in the photos, but after my initial shock it wasn't to bad. The room is small to say the least but for just the two of us it worked fine. The bed was comfy, wasn't ready for the steam heat but again it was fine. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. If your looking for a place that's got some history behind it stay here!
Location was excellent and the staff was so great! The restaurant has a delicious breakfast. GREAT view of Time Square. Our beds were hard though and pillows were flat. I'd stay again simple because of the location and staff.
It's a very reasonably (one of the cheapest) hotels in the area, and it's in a great spot of the city; right next to time square and 5th avenue.
The staff are very friendly and very accommodating as well (they allow complementary delayed check out times if requested on the day you're leaving),
Plus a bit of a bonus quirk that the place has is that they leave a freshly baked cookie out for you on the bed when you get back to the room...
Very comfortable bed and very large plasma screen tv, albeit the room is a bit cramped (but always the case New York City anyway).
All in all, definitely a 10/10 experience... I'll definitely be staying at this hotel again!
I would definitely recommend the Belvedere Hotel and stay again. We received an excellent rate and to be just a few blocks from Times Square...very worth it! The staff was hit and miss, some were great...one of the female concierge was EXCELLENT and super friendly! While another was very spacy if that is a term? Either way, very worth the price and very clean.
The brightest lights of this big city are found in the Broadway - Times Square neighborhood. Experience live entertainment, such as musicals and plays, or tour Rockefeller Center. The iconic St. Patrick's Cathedral graces the entire block of Fifth and 50th and welcomes more than 5 million visitors each year. This thriving area filled with pedestrians also hosts NBC, ABC, MTV, and NASDAQ.
