The hotel was in the perfect location! Close enough to the madness, but far enough from the noise. The room was a little dingy. I can't put my finger on it, but it just needed a little mini facelift. It wasn't horrible, but it definitely was not the best. It was just cute, and the price made it better. This may sound weird, but I loved the method they're using for their elevators! It makes it so much easier to go where you need to go fast!
The hotel staff, particularly the concierge, was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable with firm mattress and a warm but lightweight comforter. My only complaint was the temperature of the room. It became too warm during the first night. The hotel engineer was responsive he turned off the heater and opened the window. It seemed an odd thing to do, i.e. let the winter air in during February, but it worked. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The concierge was patient when coaching us in how to navigate to famous New York landmarks. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Cafe Charlotte. The food was good and I did not have to bundle up and go outside. I particularly like the location. It was so close to the theater I could easily walk.
It was a great motel, the room was a bit small but considering they upgraded us from a double to a king bed at no charge it was great. The location was great! Really close to most of the things we wanted to do so we walked most of the time. Staff was very helpful.
Love this hotel been numerous times, it has been totally refurbished Which is excellent although theres no room service now and not a lot of info about hotel. On saying this I would recommend this hotel its location is spot on.
Very nice hotel. Central to Times Square, great restaurants and theaters. Right next to the Port Authority bus station if you decide to take the bus into NYC. The hotel was clean, contemporary, with nice staff. I would definitely return.
