We stayed with five people and it was very comfortable, everyone got their own bed. The kitchenette is nice and fully equipped so we were able to cook breakfast in the room. It was conveniently located and easy to get to.

Location was excellent. Near major shops like Macy’s, local grocery, eating establishments big and small. Subway and bus were within walking distance getting you around Manhattan. Room was clean and had a small kitchen, which we didn’t really use. We had our own bathroom, which is nice and convenient. All in all room was great. The street noise on Friday was a bit loud, but if you have earplugs or a noise machine it isn’t bad.

Great location! Easy walk to Penn Station and Herald Square for transportation. Local stores and dining. However, the noise level was a bit much even for NYC. You could hear every sound from the street at all hours of the night. The kitchenette was stocked with basic salt, pepper, sugar, plates and utensils. Microwave and fridge. Linens well atocked. Table for two and all beds. There was a public bathroom on the floor we were on. Which was convenient. For the price it was a great stay in NYC.

We chose this property based on price. We are a family of 5 and it was much more cost efficient to stay here than a hotel that would accommodate us. The beds were hard and uncomfortable and there were no wash rags, but for the price we made it work! Outside we heard the city (especially Saturday night), but we knew this wasn't luxury when we purchased it....

Property was very clean and a cute room exactly what the pic shows . Point to note no usb charging port to charge phone . Check in is very poor. The stupid security guard is clueless what he is doing . Made us wait for no reason while chit chatting on the phone and then he says if you don’t know your room number I can’t check you in . Basically he was trying to give our room to standby people who were willing to pay more I guess.

Our hosts and our room were excellent. The only issue we had was with the front desk. The lady was rude and on the last day couldn’t find our luggage after she had been in the closet and looked directly at it. This resulted in a delay for our Lyft driver and arrival at the airport.

This accommodation was a great value budget room. Staff at reception friendly, location was great perfect for our needs. I think I got what I paid for, it is basic hostel style rooms. We had a suite so had private bathroom and kitchen area, I was very glad of this from my peak round the door of the communal bathroom. Our room was clean and well equipped. The only problem we had and I’m afraid a deal breaker for me is the hot water, or lack of! I’d read in other reviews it was a bit hit and miss. Our experience was it was ok in the early morning after letting it run through for at least 2 to 3 mins but never managed a hot or even slightly warm shower anytime after 7pm. Water stone cold in bathroom and kitchen in evenings.

The location was good to get around NYC as long as you accept and go by the big city street people (not homeless) hanging around consistently along the street. The room was basic and sometimes hot water would be lost for a few minutes before it came back on again. The laundry room requires a $10 purchase of a laundry card in order to use the machines. There isn't a daily room cleaning. The internet in the room never fully worked. But overall, the place was what was expected and offered a relatively clean and safe place to rest while exploring NYC and visiting friends. NYC was wonderful and energetic as ever with Penn Station at Madison Sq Garden and the 34th street subway entrance nearby. Nearby K-town was fun to see up close also and H-Mart there was very convenient to buy groceries as needed.

In need of repair and cleaning

The location was great and reception was nice. The room was dirty. It is in need of a deep clean and a lot of maintenance. I did contact the host and they sent someone to reclean but they still missed the obvious things that needed to be wiped down. Like the toliet :( She said cleanliness was a top priority but it is definitely lacking. There was dried pee dripping down the toliet. Someones dried contact on the sink, and just a layer of dust and dirt around the rest. The toilet seat was loose, the sink looked like it was falling off and did not drain. An outlet has remnants of a fire. The beds were clean but only a thin blanket is provided. There is also only one key which caused a problem because we had to groups of adults that were at times doing two different things. I would not recommend especially for the price.
