"We chose to stay in a more rural area to be close to family. It is half way between Sydney and Victoria. The farm is well cared for and the farm house is well fenced for our dog. We had beautiful weather so enjoyed sitting under palm tree on patio and in morning on deck with coffee. We enjoyed the sheep in the back and chickens in the front on other side of our fenced area. "The house was very beautiful, and was a perfect fit for a party of 10. The host was very patient explaining all the details of the house when we first arrived. The house was very clean, and we could tell the host spent a lot of time maintaining the house. There was plenty of supplies in the house. The rooms were roomy and cozy. The game room was amazing which everyone would want to spend much time in there. Thanks for hosting us, would definitely want to come back and stay here again!"

"The property is location in a beautiful country setting. Very impressive modern home. Well decorated, super clean and great beds. We were on a business trip but this home would be great for a family vacation in fact probably two family could stay at one time since there are so many rooms and beds. Very private huge yard which would be great for BBQs in the summer or anytime. The house is well stocked as well. It was just great. I feel it was the best rental unit we have stayed in over the years....

"After several days of backpacking, this was a great place to stop and rest for the night. Upon arrival we were scooted out to the goat barn to see several baby goats that were just born before got there. Such a treat. Although we were leaving very early we were provided fresh eggs and cream, toast and butter, coffee and tea. The rental itself has everything you could possibly want or need. Comfy beds and lots of towels. My next trip up will include a stay here again."

"Cabin looks much better in reality than on pictures. Rustic style and amazing views from windows and balcony. Big bathroom was awesome. Kids loved huge bathtub. Very comfortable beds. Very clean. It was very relaxing to spend the time in this cute cottage. We loved morning coffee by firepit on the balcony admiring the views and evening tea on the same balcony by firepit under the stars. Hot tub in the evening with whole family was so much fun. The area is full of nice surprises. Beautiful nature...

"I stayed with my family (3 kids ages 9-12) at this wonderful small farm in August. The kids had an absolute blast interacting with the goats and observing the water buffalo. There’s a nice deck and patio to sit and watch the sunrise and sunset from. The home has three nicely appointed bedrooms and the kitchen was well stocked. The Wi-Fi was high-speed and reliable. "We loved our stay here. Lou has artistically decorated the suite with a mixture of vintage and contemporary finds, and has added all sorts of thoughtful touches. The beachfront location was very peaceful, great for walks and paddling - but a few too many jellies for swimming the time we visited. The location is very close to the town centre as well as all the sights that Sooke has to offer. Lou was so welcoming, we will be back!"
