The breakfasts were excellent and a lovely room to have breakfast in as a good start to the day. The staff were very welcoming and helpful on arrival. " Our first visit to Harrogate. Came to see our grandsons passing out parade, at the army barracks Had a great stay at doubletree. Was given a great room. Swimming pool and spa was excellent. Perfect for visiting Harrogate.
Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
The only bad thing was the car parking charge .
Would like to return, but not sure we want to pay the car park charge."
"Great location with wonderful Victorian era architecture and vibes. The staff were absolutely fabulous, especially the bartender. The food is delicious (the pizza at the bar was the best I had in the UK!), with great selection at the breakfast buffet.
Comfortable bed, small bathroom, but that’s to be expected in an older hotel. Love the history! Byron stayed there once upon a time.
