Very friendly staff, comfortable bed with lovely clean crisp sheets. Very creaky floors which you would expect of a building of this age and also part of its charm. We have stayed here before and would stay here again.

Great location with wonderful Victorian era architecture and vibes. The staff were absolutely fabulous, especially the bartender. The food is delicious (the pizza at the bar was the best I had in the UK!), with great selection at the breakfast buffet. Comfortable bed, small bathroom, but that’s to be expected in an older hotel. Love the history! Byron stayed there once upon a time. Strong recommend if you’re in Harrogate.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. I booked this hotel for a special occasion and the staff did a fantastic job to make us feel welcome and special. The room was spacious and we had a lovely view of the gardens opposite. I would definitely book to stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend.

Lovely traditional Hotel in a good location for all that Harrogate has to offer. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The only issue was the sofa in our hotel room was damaged and gave a poor first impression of the room .

Perfectly placed for the limited sight seeing I had time for since was at a conference, and very convenient for the conference! Breakfast options good, room and bathroom very clean with sufficient storage.

Centrally located, room ok but would have been better with blackout curtains, reception areas very nice, breakfast was good. Make sure that you prebook parking including blue badge parking.

Beautiful building with lots of history, spotlessly clean. Quiet and within walking distance to the town centre. Smaller room than expected but had everything needed, including a fan in the cupboard which was great to see as the room was very warm and front windows didn’t open far. Reception staff very helpful, and barman was friendly and chatty making it a pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again.
