"The food was great and being welcomed to the smell of popcorn after a 6 Hour Dr. was just what my body and soul needed! I felt bad for the poor girl at the front desk because the woman ahead of us in line was screaming at her for not giving her a free upgrade. This employee remained composed and professional, and when it was our turn, she smiled the whole interaction never happened. I highly commend her for her composure and feel bad that she was spoken to that way."

"This is an excellent hotel. The toilet in our first room had a faulty flush, and the desk changed us seamlessly to a room a few doors down. Then I had an embarrassing emergency -- an otherwise unnoticed rash on my skin opened up and bled a little on the bedding. The desk sent up a complete change of linen with kindness and sympathy. I wish I had the name of that excellent desk clerk, who genuinely cared (she was on duty on the morning of July 10). The breakfast is FAB (eggs and sausage, plus other stuff), and is operated by a sweet, thoughtful person named Dee. We even met a few dogs! La Quintas are pet-friendly. We really appreciated our stay here. Thank you."

"The room was very spacious and beautiful. I wish there was an outdoor area to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery, however, there are outdoor patios within walking distance, which made our stay very enjoyable. Will definitely be back."

"We stay in the Berkley when visiting Richmond. The hotel is pleasant and has a charm about it. Very good location for dining and seeing the sites. The hotel is going through an upgrade which is due as the carpeting in our room needed changing. We will continue to visit this establishment as it works for us. "
