"Property is huge, clean, and just beautiful. We had the basic resort pool view room, and it was very spacious. We had only 1 thing to say about the room well 2. 1 it had a smell of almost like a moldy smell and 2 it gets cold, so we made sure to turn off the A/C that auto came on when you entered the room. We had no issues with the staff, good luck with getting a lounger around the main (infinity) pool. There's a variety of food choices daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the buffet. Our 1 other thing about the property is we felt that there should be more daily activities to entertain guest mid-day around noonish-1pm. Also, the lounges, sports bars, theaters etc. didn't open until late in the evening 10pm and later. So, after breakfast until 230-3pm and during dinner time 6-630p-10pm there's nothing to do. if you want to just chill, relax at beach or by the pool all day until about 6-630pm this is perfect! Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, but we would have enjoyed even the more if we had more to do during the day. We are not big "excursion or beach (sunbathing)" type of people. We still had a beautiful time - we got to catch up on rest, enjoy the property and enjoy time away from home! OAN - bring firestick or something to plug into the TV for if/when you're in the room to watch TV on because not many English channels to watch on tv."

"Room was clean and the AC was amazing! Comfortable bed amd great view. Amaing fun pool and great drinks! Only thing lacking was the food it was just ok. "

"I enjoyed my stay. I try not to let anything ruin it. I also am very appreciative of all the staff. They were very attentive and lovely. The property is beautiful and spacious. There were just a few areas of improvement. The room was lovely but definitely needs detailing. Lots of uncleaned surfaces such as under the faucet handles, under shampoo bottles, shower wasn’t very clean. Ants pouring into the room by the sofa and a drain fly infestation. I killed about 4-5 a day just in the bathroom. They didn't fly in, they came out of the drains. I was able to manage but it was definitely gross. Now the food also needs major improvement. I only ate at the buffet and barefoot grill. Most items lacked flavor and didn't look fresh at all. I didn't bother with the restaurants. I ended up leaving the resort to eat most days. Also on the last day my son got sick after eating at the buffet. He has thrown up about 20 times from the airplane all the way home with a terrible case of diarrhea and now we are going to the hospital because he's dehydrated and definitely ate something that went bad from the buffet. Also the pools need to be cleaners. Stairs to go in are full of hard water scum and the water isnt cleaned or filtered well. Lots of bugs sand and leaves day to day from previous days. I rate my stay 5/10"

"The resort itself is a 4/5, the food is not bad and the buffet has many options and good for breakfast lunch and dinner. However, the staff are so rude and pushy. We were physically harassed by “animacion” staff to participate in games we didn’t want to. and by physical i mean grabbed and pulled and shushed and tried to force into participating after multiple times saying we’re not interested and no thank you. We also had such a difficult time with the app. we could not set it up or get ahold of the front desk to help us get basic things like towels. multiple times our room was cleaned and all of our towels were taken but not restocked. 20% of the staff were kind and welcoming and made for an enjoyable experience but honestly this resort cannot be 5 stars like advertised if their staff has as bad of manners as what we experienced. We understand there’s amenities available but we were so sick of being harassed everyday to do the spa, play volleyball do excursions or purchase unnecessary souvenirs on the beach. For the most part we did enjoy our stay outside of these experiences. Would i recommend someone else stay here? definitely not but that’s simply because of the way we were treated by staff. and mind you we did tip occasionally when service was good. so to end this review honestly it deserves a 3/5. Good enough but would not return."

"The resort is amazing- from the beautiful grounds to the super friendly and accommodating staff! Swim up pool bar(Carols, Ashley and Lionel) is always energetic, Dominga , Ana, Marta at Thalassa as well as Jose making eggs- are always so kind and generous! The food is good and it’s a wonderful relaxing resort to unplug and unwind. 10/10- been here over 12 times and we will be back soon!"
