"Exceptionally clean and comfy room, fresh bedding and towels available. Perfect location on the river, by the train station with just a 5 minute walk to the city centre. We stayed in room 1 and had a lovely view of the river on the morning, hotel was quiet, warm and comfortable. Martyn assisted with great communication telling us everything we needed to know prior to getting to the guest house, check in and check out was simple and easy. "We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! "
