Douglas Fir Resort and Chalets

"We had a wonderful stay. We had the upper condo of one of the fourplexes. It was not fancy, but was comfortable for 4 adults. The pool and hottub were great. The location was nice and quiet and picturesque. Convenient distance from downtown Banff. Complimentary roam was perfect and a short trip to downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

"Hotel is nicely locatedat the end of Main Street - close to restaurants and shops, but not in the busy area. Public transportation works well and front desk helpful in finding the schedules. Aarita was amazing with her knowledge, professionalism, and kindness. She helped us with transportation and various reservations for the area.. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others."

"The hotel and rooms were clean and modern. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. The garage was convenient. The hot tub was a great bonus specially after a full day of hiking. The location was great with free bus pass to downtown and some attractions. We will definitely stay here again!"

"Great place to stay while in Banff. We liked the location and loved that we had a full kitchen. It could use some updating…in our room, the dishwasher needs to be replaced, the vents need to be vacuumed. I would add shelving to the upstairs half bath as there is very limited counter space for toiletries. The beds were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed walking into town, but the resort does provide free bus passes, which is nice when you need it. The staff was very nice and easy to talk to."

"Great location, helpful and friendly staff, nice large room loved the decor. The only negative is that if you have a topper on your vehicle you probably won’t fit in the parking garage. Because of the location there isn’t an outside lot option for parking. Loved our stay though, would certainly come back without the topper!"
